I was born into a seven generation circus family and traveled all over the United States and Canada. We built all the props for our acts. This sparked my interest in creating different kinds of metal work. When traveling on the road, you had to be able to fix, make and repair everything because you were moving weekly and sometimes daily. This helped hone my creativity. The soldiers at Fort Dix are picking up a taste of Jersey culture - Italian Hot Dogs. The guy in front of me ordered a "Polish". He had to be from Chicago. Did he want potatoes on it? Peppers? Onion?" Nope, "Just mustard and relish. Wait, what's that?" The customer next to him was handed a double Italian hot dog. "I'll take one of those. Never seen a hot dog like that before." Can't ask for a better location. Just outside of Fort Dix's main gate. Most of the customers were soldiers when I stopped by. That's a double Italian hot dog above, a single sausage to the right and a singe dog below that. The innards are perfect - not only the hot dog or sausage, but the peppers, onions and potatoes too. The pizza bread it comes in is more American than Italian, but they're working at that. For some reason the Italian Bakeries in South Jersey can't bake North Jersey pizza bread. Funny thing. Even though the bread is softer than traditional pizza bread I liked the way it made the dog more functional. Easier to crush everything together to fit in my mouth.

Your fake chocolates arrived several days ago and are THE BEST!!! OHMIGOSH, they are too funny--and convincing, and lightweight, perfect for earrings for my "Vegan Horror" division of "Fiber for Your Fashion Diet"!!! The "Vegan Horror" section includes ham dinners, donuts, candies of all kinds, fried chicken, eggs, etc. The Northwest is full of vegeterians and vegans, and they crack up (most of the time)!

I am a HS Special Ed teacher, and my students were totally convinced the truffles were real---and suggested that I add icing? Like a swirl? So, I got some bumpy 3-d fabric paint, and it works perfect as a "drizzle" or swirl of "frosting"! The bigger Petit Fours I'm making into pins. The chocolate covered cherries are too funny, especially with the chocolate covered cherry tart pin that I got from another website.

Anyway, I just had to tell you that I really will be ordering more in time for the summer Farmer's Markets that I plan to do in these parts.

How on earth did you get into fake food? I also love your packaging, need to work on mine.

Biography: Coming from a prestigious theatre family Mr Christgau (AKA Montgomery) has had a thriving career in all aspects of the stage for thirty years. He has been a stagehand, stage manager, lighting designer, actor, director, producer and teacher. He has acted, directed and stage managed internationally in Russia, Georgia, Poland, Scotland and the USA. Ten years ago he began a new department at the Dwight School in which Theatre and the Arts were given a new priority for the student artists and which has become a thriving and successful part of the school community. His students are active in the NY theatre community and perform in major Off-Broadway theatres every year. Currently along with the Dwight School Mr Christgau teaches upwards of fifty private students and is director for a classical children's theatre company.
