Dare County to Host Free Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event

Dare County will host a free household hazardous waste collection event on October 14, 2021.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dare County Public Works Facility in Manteo.

Accepted items include pesticides, herbicides, bleach, cleaning fluids, oil-based paints, and more.

Items that will not be accepted include latex paint, ammunition, explosives, and medical waste.
